Helping to Keep the Power On with Remote Support to Our Customers
Forming part of the ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic, NOJA Power have ensured business continuity through a transition to remote work. As a provider of capital equipment to support the global power distribution network, it is essential that policy and systems are in place to facilitate the continuation of service delivery.
NOJA Power Headquarters remain open for production operation, but in following government recommendations on social distancing and indoor population density, workers which can perform their duties remotely have transitioned to working from home. The goal is to maximize the health and wellbeing of NOJA Power staff and stakeholders as we work together through the pandemic crisis.
The transition for Sales, Marketing and Service personnel presents the least change, as all these employees travel regularly, and remote business operation is the norm. Joining these veterans of remote work are the rest of the engineering, finance and contracts teams, who will minimize HQ office time and transition to home offices supported by NOJA Power’s remote IT systems. Images of new “Regional Offices” of NOJA Power throughout the greater Brisbane area have been welcomed on the first days of remote work.
“The Health and Wellbeing of our staff is at the forefront of our mind at this time,” reports NOJA Power Group Managing Director Neil O’Sullivan, “so quickly establishing the IT infrastructure and hardware to allow our staff who can work from home to work from home and then maintain the same level of support to our Electricity Utility customers when they need us most has been our primary focus for several weeks now while continuing to run our manufacturing facilities with increased hygiene and social isolation for production staff.”
To minimize risk of disruption to NOJA Power’s production capacity, the Murarrie factory headquarters remains closed to external guests, accepting only deliveries and dispatch at the 24 Archimedes Place Warehouse Facility separate to the production area. NOJA Power remains committed to meet delivery times stipulated in existing order bookings.
