Case Study: Building Power System Reliability in Ukraine

NOJA Power Switchgear has a long history delivering distribution switchgear throughout the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries. Many NOJA Power OSM Reclosers are installed in Ukraine, delivering power supply reliability in a challenging operating environment.

In this case study article, NOJA Power discusses project applications with Chernihivoblenergo JSC, a utility servicing approximately 550,000 customers in the city of Chernihiv and surrounds, northeast of the nation’s capital Kiev.

Engineers from Chernihivoblenergo cite their experience integrating NOJA Power’s OSM Recloser system into their existing SCADA control network with the expert support from local NOJA Power Distributor, Recloser LLC. Chernihivoblenergo have deployed the OSM Reclosers in applications for sectionalising, autoreclosing and telecontrol.
